Praise and Appreciation:

Alejandro Crawford (an excerpt of his longer piece “Learning Music” appears in the Synesthesia Anthology

“I wanted to take a moment to say how deeply Synesthesia has made me think and feel. What an extraordinary assemblage of images and ideas, and a pleasure for Learning Music to be included alongside them. Definitely came together with an aesthetic integrity, and the way you combined illustrations with poems and essays achieved a dreamlike quality that knit the pieces together in a way that’s unfamiliar, even discomfiting, but in a good way. I performed series of poems as song cycles for years, and developed a set of recordings as well, though till now I’d seldom ventured into the world of literary journals, fearing the work would appear desiccated on the page. In Synesthesia — as I suspected, looking at previous issues — the opposite is the case. I hope this gets the notice it deserves.

Ken Wagner (his poem “Blame Rain” appears in the Synesthesia Anthology)

“Wow – what a great journal. I am so happy to be along side some great writers and artists.  Thank you for the kind words on the blog – I sent the journal out to all my internet avenues and have received great praise for my work followed by greater praise for Synesthesia and your work.  From here to France on Facebook – Twitter and LinkedIn.  The best comments and most common were how much they loved the layout of the Journal because they were more able to focus on the content.  One friend said you made the leap from “Internet journal ” to “Serious literary journal found on the internet”
